The Opera team have been working hard following our snapshot earlier today and we managed to get a few more fixes ready for further testing. We, therefore, thought we’d give you an even better snapshot to play with. It contains all the improvements from the last one, plus those listed in the change log below. Check out the updated the proxy UI and the Opera Next fixes.
Let’s us know what you think and any issues you find … oh and have a great weekend!
- Opera Next does not start from the application launcher in many popular Linux and FreeBSD Desktop Environments: To work around start from the terminal ‘opera-next &’. Alternatively edit ‘/usr/share/applications/opera-next-browser.desktop’ and change ‘StartupNotify=true’ to ‘StartupNotify=false’ and then log out and back into your Desktop Environment.
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.
