Go Mylo Countdown is a Joomla module that counts down from the hosting server’s current date/time to a specified date/time using days, hours, minutes and/or seconds. This is one of the most flexible countdown modules for controlling the style and content of your output.
> Choose Absolute or Relative Countdown – Can countdown to a defined date/time or to a defined time interval.
> 24 or 12 – Choose either 24 hour format or 12 hour format.
> Time Zone Offset – If your host server is in a different time zone, the countdown can be adjusted
> Pre and Post Text – Add text above and below the countdown with CSS and HTML tags
> Pre and Post Text Margins – Adjust the margins to your liking
> Custom Label, Styling & Location – Add a label to the countdown, use CSS to style it to your liking, position it above, below, to the left, or to the right of the countdown
> Countdown Link – Let the countdown link to another page on your site or to an external site
> Countdown Link Target – Choose whether the link opens in the current window or a new one.
> Units to Display – Choose the units you wish to display and the script will calculate the changes (weeks, days, hours, minutes and/or seconds)
> Show Zero Plurality – Some languages differ in the way you say things with “zero” (ie. 0 minutes vs. 0 minute). This toggles the plural of the terms for those that need it.
> Alternative terminology – This gives the administrator the ability to use wording other than “minutes” or “seconds”. For example, it could say “45 min”, “45 crazy minutes”, “45 doughnuts”… it could be anything – even an image!
> Display Leading Zero – This will add a zero in front of all 1 digit numbers. This was designed to help your vertical countdown line up better.
> Delimiter for large numbers – If you select a countdown that is in the distant future and, for example, decide to only show minutes and seconds, this will add a delimiter of your choosing between every 3rd digit to make it more legible.
> Countdown Styling – Allows the usage of HTML and CSS to style your countdown.
> Horizontal or Vertical – Elements of the countdown may be displayed in a line or in a stack
> Justification – Select Left, Center or Right justification for your label and countdown
> Text or Redirect – When the countdown reaches zero, choose whether to display customizable text (with CSS and HTML) or redirect to another page/URL in the same window or a new window.
> Toggle Pre and Post Text – After the countdown ends, you may choose whether to display the Pre and Post Text or have them disappear
> Toggle Link to Author – Turn on/off a link to the Go Mylo Countdown website
> Module Class Suffix – Add custom styling to the module with a module suffix
> Language Files – Uses language files for extra flexibility. If you’d like to translate a file to your language, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
